What is Medical micropigmentation?
Medical micropigmentation also known as medical tattooing and/or paramedical tattooing involves carefully applying specialised pigment to the skin where colour is missing from injury or trauma, birth defect, post surgery or as an alternative to surgery.
In particular Medical micropigmentation involves Areola and Nipple Restoration, creating an incredibly realistic 3D nipple and areola and Scars, Burns & Grafts Skin Camouflaging and needling, preparing and putting colour back into scarred and burned skin and skin with trauma.
In some cases, Medical micropigmentation could also involve improving the texture of the skin through Meso skin needling also known as micro-needling and skin needling, where small needles cause tiny punctures in the skin to create a wound healing response and renew the skin cells.

What will you learn?
Our experienced Medical micropigmentation trainer will teach you Areola and Nipple restoration and Scars and Burns Skin camouflage and needling.
On the course you will learn how to create 3D realism for Areola and Nipple restoration. The course will also show you how to microneedle to reduce breast surgery scars and how to correct other technicians' Areola and Nipple micropigmentation work.
For Skin camouflage and needling, our Medical Micropigmentation trainer will teach you our unique technique to apply pigment to the skin. You will learn ‘Shallow camouflage’, a light surface implantation which gives a tint of colour to an area. And ‘Acrylic camouflage’, our other creation which is used as a longer lasting technique where colour is mosaiced into the skin with a number of different pigments. You will also learn how to prepare the skin before camouflaging through Meso Body.
