‘The Beauty Industry Professional of The Year Award 2018’ went to CEO, Dawn Forshaw. In a category with 12
other nominees, it was a great win for the Finishing Touches Group. Dawn commented: “It was a colourful, fun night, also combined with a serious message on Safety in Beauty. I feel very honoured to receive this truly prestigious Diamond Award for Beauty Industry Professional of the Year. I want to say a very well done to all my team at Finishing Touches for also receiving ‘Highly Commended’ for Best Professional Beauty Training.

Dawn’s passion for all things related to semi-permanent makeup, began in 1996 when she founded Finishing Touches Group. This was originally a clinic offering cosmetic and medical tattooing treatments but has since grown into a global leading provider of training and supplies in the semi-permanent tattooing industry.

The Safety in Beauty campaign was launched in 2013 by Antonia Mariconda out of a growing dissatisfaction and devastation caused by unprofessional and dubious beauty treatments.
Safety in Beauty seeks to help, educate and empower consumers. A team of voluntary supporters and professionals works together to raise awareness of the importance of safe treatments.
