Add the wow factor to your skin treatments
Dermaplaning is a safe, effective way to rejuvenate the overall health and appearance of your clients skin. It is a non invasive, easy, fast and painless approach to helping your clients skin stay refreshed and youthful.
It requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently “shave” the skin’s surface, removing the top-most layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair/peach fuzz. This hair can trap dirt and oil causing breakouts and a dull complexion.
The process of dermaplaning is one of removing dead skin cells, minimising old skin scars from acne or sun damage, smoothing your skin, removing fine hairs, reducing the visibility of large pores or skin pigment variation, releasing clogged pores and encouraging your skin to produce new skin cells and collagen for a more youthful appearance. The results are immediate and there is very little down time.

Level 4 – GET AHEAD OF THE GAME
All our core training course across Semi permanent makeup/SPMU, Microblading, Skin Needling, Scalp Micropigmentation and Dermaplaning give you a level 4 qualification as standard at no additional cost. Our level 4 certification is awarded by OCN Credit4learning and recognised across all UK councils. We have a team of specialist advisors on hand should you need any additional assistance contacting your council and acquiring a licence.
What is a Level 4?
There is a lot of confusion and mis-information over the new rulings on education/Level 4. Our Level 4 courses have been made in response to recommendations originally made by the Keogh Report, to raise standards in our industry. A suggestion that all micropigmentation and micro-needling practitioners should have a Level 4 education has been taken up and is now being enforced by insurance companies and local councils alike.
Our level 4 courses are split down into their procedural grouping for one very good reason. Micropigmentation is an overall term used in our industry, but one course doesn’t fit all.
For example, the implantation of pigment into the scalp. The level of understanding of the physical as well as physiological effects of hair loss let alone the unique characteristics of the skin on the scalp, differ greatly to that on the lip, brow or areola. Our level 4 education therefore focuses on the differences and increasing your learning and understanding of these vital elements under the correct course pathway.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
“I just want to let you know that my two day course with Marcia was absolutely fantastic and she has renewed my passion and motivation for eyebrows again! Marcia is a true professional and an absolute joy to spend time with.”
“I just want to say how impressed I am with the on line theory training. I have found it both refreshing and interesting”
“Kat made me feel so comfortable prior the assessment and helped me after with questions I had in general about everything microblading. She was so helpful, genuine and friendly and is everything you would like a trainer/assessor to be.”
“Can’t believe how much I’m missing being with your guys! It is hands down the best course and have been on, I’m recommending FTG to everyone. ”
“Training was amazing! I couldn’t have asked for a better trainer. Susie is so knowledgeable and supportive. She has given me so much confidence. She is a great asset to your team.”
“The training was amazing! I was very impressed with how much hands on experience I gained. I honestly couldn’t believe, how many models we had to work on. I’ve done other training in the past that’s lasted a week and we only had one model to work on all week. So it was a big step up.
Marica was incredible, so knowledgeable and friendly. She made me feel at ease with everything I was doing. I was gutted when the training was over I didn’t want to leave.
She has since contacted me to ask how I’m getting on and if I needed any help with anything.
So overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it and any more training I wish to book in the future I will definitely be coming to finishing touches!”
“Thank you so much, Hayley was so lovely and amazing to be taught by, lucky to of had such a great group of girls to work with and look forward to being back for my assessment day. Thanks for all your support”
“A BIG thank you to Tarryn Vice for her dedication to Semi Permanent Make Up and the excellent level of knowledge she shared at the Colour and Needles weekend at Heathrow – I now understand so much more with regards to how colours work and how to address them and the reason why you should use certain needles for different things instead of trying to do it all with the same one!! Just a brilliant course -and great to meet such lovely ladies too .”
“To everyone who works in or is starting out in PMU. The colour weekend with Tarryn Vice was absolutely excellent. Two days of superb information relating to our work.
