The short answer should be yes, but we will work with you to determine if your device is suitable. The needle configuration is the most important aspect of the kit, so providing your equipment can use a suitable 3 configuration and has appropriate velocity or power for SMP then you should be good to go. Our training team will be able to advise, with devices available specific to SMP there are always a range of options if your current device is not suitable.

SMP is a completely different treatment to other micropigmentation treatments and as such has its own range of equipment, pigments and ink. We have a specific range of shorter-term SMP pigments, similar to SPMU and Medical Micro pigments but created specifically for SMP to reduce the potential for long term discolouration of the scalp, while still offering a shorter-term option. These pigments are pre-mixed and ready to use or mix to get the correct shade. We also teach with a longer-term carbon based ink on a dilution scale, an ink that requires dilution to create the specific tone required. Colour theory is an important aspect of SMP, as with all micropigmentation treatments. Using treatment specific pigments and inks enables you to achieve the best possible results.
